This project explores the liminal space between where I am and where I come from. It’s a personal reflection on the many ways we leave—physically, emotionally, and over time—and the quiet ache that lingers in between.
A wooden box, etched with the title, holds fragments of that experience: double-exposed photographs and laser-engraved poems, each placed inside translucent glassine envelopes. Delicate, intimate, and half-visible—like memory itself.
The soft translucence of the envelopes to the engraved texture of the text, was made to reflect the fragility of memory and the deeply personal, yet universally familiar feeling of being in between.
